Dosewise Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Overview

Dosewise is designed with privacy as its foundation. Dosewise does not collect, sell, rent, or transmit personal data to the developer or third parties. Health and log data stay on your device unless you choose to share exported content yourself.

Data Storage

Dosewise stores Apple Health samples you authorize and manual entries on your device. This can include glucose readings, insulin entries, meals or carbohydrate entries, insulin entries, workouts or activity, notification preferences, and generated app insights. Data is not sent to a server, cloud service, analytics provider, advertiser, or other third party by Dosewise.

Apple Health

Dosewise reads Apple Health data only after you grant permission. Dosewise may read glucose, insulin, dietary carbohydrate, and workout samples to show trends, timeline items, and possible missed-dose pattern explanations. Dosewise does not write data to Apple Health. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Dosewise.

No Account Required

Dosewise does not require an account. There is no login, no registration, and no user profile stored outside your device.

No Analytics or Tracking

Dosewise contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking SDKs in this build.

Notifications, Widgets, and Apple Watch

Local notifications, widgets, and Apple Watch views use data on your device to display reminders, trends, and insights. These features do not send data to the Dosewise developer.

PDF Sharing and Export

Dosewise can create a PDF summary on your device. Sharing is initiated by you through the iOS share sheet. After you choose to share information outside Dosewise, that information is handled by the destination you choose.

Data Security

Dosewise relies on iOS device security and local file protection to help protect data stored on your device. Keep your device passcode, Apple ID, and backups secure.

Data Deletion

To delete Dosewise app data, delete the app from your device. To remove data that already exists in Apple Health, manage it separately in the Apple Health app or iOS Health settings.
