SnoreMD is designed to help you understand what happens acoustically while you sleep — snoring, coughing, yawning, talking. Your recordings are personal. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what SnoreMD does and does not do with your data.
The short version: SnoreMD processes everything on your device. Nothing is uploaded. We have no servers that see your audio.
SnoreMD runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The same privacy guarantees apply on every device — each runs its own on-device analysis, and the iPhone and Apple Watch share data only through Apple's device-to-device Watch Connectivity framework (Bluetooth/peer-to-peer Wi-Fi), never through any server we control.
All data SnoreMD collects stays on your device:
SnoreMD has no backend. There is no account, no sync, no "cloud backup."
You do not create an account to use SnoreMD. We do not know who you are, and we cannot — there is no sign-up, no email collection, no phone number verification.
SnoreMD does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporters, advertising IDs, or tracking libraries. There are no Facebook, Google, TikTok, or similar trackers in the app. We do not measure feature usage, session length, button taps, or screen visits.
The App Store Connect "App Privacy" declaration reflects this: Data Not Collected.
Because your data lives only on your iPhone, your data's security is your iPhone's security:
